Just in time for Mother’s Day, Santa’s Village Azoosment Park is set to open the official start of its 57th season on Saturday, May 7 with the restored, nostalgic Snowball ride, an expansion of the reptile collection and beloved kid-friendly rides.
Voted one of the 10 best family friendly amusement parks in the country by Fodor’s Travel, Santa’s Village Azoosment Park is located in East Dundee, Ill., conveniently situated between both Chicago and Rockford.
Boasting affordable pricing, engaging rides and animal shows, as well as an extremely “walk-able” layout, Santa’s Village Azoosment Park remains a popular destination for family reunions, birthday parties or a fun day out with the kids and grandkids. The park features three themed areas; Santa’s Village, Old MacDonald’s Farm and the Country Grove. Come enjoy much of the nostalgia of the original amusement park with some of the memorable rides and petting zoo while discovering new fun with a variety of animal-related activities and shows, designed to entertain and educate. Santa’s Village Azoosment animals are all supervised and cared for by a team of more than 35 qualified animal welfare specialists.
Beginning Mother’s Day weekend, May 7 and May 8, the Park is open weekends through Memorial Day, then moves to full summer operation, on Monday, June 13 through Friday, August 12, seven days a week. After that, the park is open weekends only from Saturday, August 13, through Saturday, October 31 with the exception of Labor Day and Columbus Day.
Admission prices are $22.75 for ages 3 and up; $16.75 for Seniors Tuesday- Sunday and a Super Senior Saver on Mondays only for $14.75. Season passes are available and active military and their immediate family are admitted free with an active duty status ID. Veterans receive a discount with military id of $16.75.
